Theme: “ When Life Feels Overwhelming: Find Strength in God”
Main Scripture: Psalm 46:1 (KJV)

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Galatians 6:9 gives us this encouragement:

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
The Bible acknowledges that we can become weary.

It doesn't pretend that we never get tired.

But it says:

Don't give up.

There is a season for planting.

There is a season for waiting.

There is a season for harvesting.

You may be in a waiting season right now.

Don't confuse waiting with God forgetting you.

Silence doesn't mean absence.

Delay doesn't necessarily mean denial.

And a difficult season doesn't mean God has abandoned you.

HOST STORY/ILLUSTRATION
Imagine a farmer planting a seed.

After planting it, the farmer doesn't dig it up every morning to see whether it is growing.

He waters it.

He tends it.

He waits.

Why?

Because growth often happens where the eye cannot see it.

Some things God is doing in your life may be happening beneath the surface.

So keep praying.

Keep walking.

Keep trusting.

Keep doing what is right.

Keep your heart close to God.

And remember:

“In due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

Here are four nuggets you can remember long after this programme ends.

NUGGET 1 — RUN TO GOD, NOT AWAY FROM GOD
When pressure increases, our natural response may be to isolate ourselves.

But Psalm 46:1 says:

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
When life becomes difficult, don't run away from God.

NUGGET 2 — REPLACE “WHAT IF?” WITH “GOD IS WITH ME”
Fear asks:

“What if everything goes wrong?”

Faith says:

“Whatever happens, God is with me.”

Isaiah 41:10 reminds us:

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee…”
You may not know what tomorrow holds.

But you know who holds tomorrow.

NUGGET 3 — GIVE GOD WHAT YOU CANNOT CONTROL
1 Peter 5:7 says:

“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”
Ask yourself:

“What am I carrying today that I need to surrender to God?”

Give it to Him.

Do what you can.

Trust Him with what you cannot.

NUGGET 4 — DON'T QUIT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SEASON
Galatians 6:9 says:

“Let us not be weary in well doing…”
You may be tired.

You may be disappointed.

You may not see results yet.

But keep going.

God is not finished.
